Baghdad & Berlin — June 6, 2024 — The launch of a digital magazine designed for Media in Cooperation and Transition (MiCT), titled "Restoring Hope" This project combines artistic and journalistic excellence to capture and convey the rich narratives of justice, unity, and social cohesion across Iraq.
I led a team of four talented artists to design a visually compelling magazine that aligns with its unique visual identity. We seamlessly integrated existing artworks and newly created graphics to ensure a captivating visual layout that appeals to a diverse readership.
The magazine’s performance, navigation, and accessibility were optimized to cater to a wide audience, including project participants and the general public. My innovative approach included the incorporation of multimedia elements such as images and interactive features, enhancing user engagement and effectively conveying the magazine's core messages.

The digital magazine is the culmination of seven months of dedicated work under the "Restorative Justice: Tapestry" project, spearheaded by MiCT. This initiative brought together journalists and artists to document and portray narratives of social cohesion in regions affected by sectarian tensions throughout the Nineveh Plains, Salah al-Din, and Kirkuk districts.
The project involved rigorous research, interviews, and artistic representation, supporting engagement and discourse around justice and reconciliation. The final product is a beautifully designed digital magazine that compiles these stories and artworks into a visually appealing and impactful publication.
